If you love the things that you do at work, definitely you’ll have fun and enjoy it. However, there are some jobs that people do not want to try at all in their entire life. This list named the worst jobs that have been evaluated based on the criteria and satisfaction of majority of employees. This is based on various expertise, industry, and salary bracket, physical demands of work, stress, and work environment. If you feel that you have chosen the worst job in your life, and then think twice because there are other people who are stocked already in the kind of work which are difficult in all aspect. Some of you may not agree on this list especially if your work falls in one of the categories on this list, but this list was released by Forbes this year, 2012.
10. Broadcaster

The standard income of a broadcaster is $27,324.00 while it garnered an overall score of 1480.00 wherein the work environment is 65.250, stress is 42.240, physical demands is 48.25 and 8.14 is the hiring outlook. A broadcaster is the one that prepares the detailed delivery of the news for that hour through television, and radio. There is a great proportion of stress in this kind of work especially the hours that it actually demands.
9. Butchers

Despite of the very minimal increase of the pay of the majority of the butchers wherein from last year’s pay of 29,150, and an increased of 6 cents that makes it $ 29, 156. Now that the centralized system for butchering is being implemented in all supermarket chains, there is a great decreased in the demands for butcher’s job.
8. Dishwashers

The effect of the recession is being felt more in the food industry for the past years. Hence, the pay for the dishwashers this year has decreased instead of an increase. The last year pay recorded was $18,053 compared to the current salary this year of $18,044. People tend to eat less outside their home, and would just stay and cook their own meal. This job is one of the difficult jobs because of the tough condition that they have to endure for hours in order to earn the decent amount of income.
7. Meter Reader

There is only a 3 percent increased in this year’s current pay of $35.71. There is no reason for any meter reader to rejoice. In fact, there is a declining rate that this job would be offered in the next 5 to 10 years especially that technological development is really fast pacing, that this job will not be valuable anymore in the future.
6. Waiters/Waitresses

There are no changes on the pay; it has maintained the flat rate compensation just like the butcher, and dishwasher jobs. For this year, it offers $18,088 take home pay and it’s the third job under the food industry which is alarming because of the gradual decrease in the demand of labor for this job. In fact, majority of the restaurants do not recommend increases or appraisals anymore for their waiters and waitresses otherwise they would hire another people for this position.
5. Newspaper Reporter

This is another job on this list that has a 3% increased this year wherein it pays $35,275. Nevertheless, the fact remains that this is one of the most demanding jobs because of the stresses that a reporter could get. They have to be on duty in whatever situations, whether conditions, and life-threatening locations because, it’s their job to keep a better scope for the rating of the network company or newspaper that they are working with. In fact, there are bankruptcy and merges that had been reported that worsen the total compensation for this position.
4. Oil Rig Worker

It has maintained a flat rate pay of $32, 132 despite of the fact that oil industry business is booming and progressing rapidly. This is actually an entry-level position wherein they are exposed to dangerous and hazardous effects of their work like working on oil rigs, and the locations or conditions itself. In fact, the fatality rate is higher because of the long hours of exposure to the oil.
3. Military Personnel

It was named number 3 because of the high risk on their life and stability of professional accreditation. They serve as front liners for the country that they are protecting wherein their life is at stake in exchange of $ 32,261 pay.
2. Dairy Farmers

This is one of the jobs which are new on this list. It pays $ 33,119 this year, with an increase of 3.1%. Nonetheless, it’s dangerous because dairy farmers have to deal with big animals like cow wherein recorded fatalities became higher before 2011 ended.
1. Lumberjacks

There are no changes on the pay, and if there is, it still offers a flat rate pay. This job has been consistent for the past years as one of the worst jobs. Aside from the fact that you have to work outside in a very risky and dangerous condition wherein some were injured and have broken their legs, yet the compensation is still low despite of the threat that it has in the lives of the lumberjacks or better known as loggers.
